The Florida Keys / October 15 – May 15
Stone Crab Season
Those succulent claws, brought to shore fresh daily from the waters surrounding the Florida Keys, will drip with mustard dip on the chins of hungry locals and visitors. A series of food festivals during the season celebrate the sustainable seafood resource throughout the Keys.

Holiday Arts & Crafts Festival
Postcard Inn Beach Resort & Marina, mile marker 84 oceanside, is host of the annual show, a perfect opportunity to do some holiday shopping for original artwork, unique and handcrafted items during the holiday season. Open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day, free admission.

Key Largo / November 24
Keys Community Concert Band presents: American Legacy
Enjoy live music for all ages at a family-friendly free outdoor community band concert as the season-opener for Pops in the Park, to start at 4 p.m. at Founders Park, MM 87 bayside. Admission is free for the outdoor concert, bring lawn chairs or blankets.

Marathon / November 23 – December 15
When Bridget decides to spend the summer before law school with her sweet grandmother it turns into an experience she’ll never forget. Nana is running an illegal lingerie boutique for the over-60 crowd from her rent-controlled apartment. She has to keep it secret from the landlord who wants to evict her, as well as the handsome policeman who is smitten by her granddaughter and regularly checks in on Nana. Departs from the City Hall Parking Lot, located on the corner of Angela and Simonton. Tickets $25. Can be purchased ONLINE or at the trolley, our G&L Visitor Center (located at 513 Truman), and many of our distinguished gay and lesbian guest houses.
Key West / March 17 – November 30
More than 40 species of fish are targeted during these months, with divisions for men, women, junior anglers (ages 10 to 14) and Pee Wees (under 10 years old). In a March kickoff event, anglers target 15 species and $5,000 in cash prizes is split between the top anglers.

Key West / November 2 – 23
Gallery artists use paint and other medium to examine the state of Florida arts: Debra Yates; Rick Worth; Michael Haykin; Seth Smith; Susan Sugar; Jim Youngerman; Lynne Bentley-Kemp; and A.D. Tinkham. Lucky Street Gallery, located at 550 Greene Street, welcomes visitors daily from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and later on Thursday and Friday nights. This show celebrating Florida will be on exhibit through Thanksgiving.
Key West / November 7 – 24
Three grisly murders, plus one master interrogator, plus one tough suspect equals a suspense-filled new play by Key West playwright and director Bob Bowersox. Visit website for show times and tickets.
Big Pine & the Lower Keys / November 24
Highlights of this holiday event include live music by local entertainers, food, exhibits and booths featuring locally produced arts and crafts. Festivities traditionally take place on the grounds of the Lower Keys Chamber of Commerce, MM 31 oceanside.
Live holiday music, games for the kids, holiday cheer and a chance for photos with Santa highlight this event along the historic harbor walk linking colorful seaport restaurants, bars and businesses at the Key West Bight. Created as a gift to the community, the gala is produced by the Key West Bight Preservation Association and tenants of the Key West Bight.
