Since its inception in 1988, the Redbone Celebrity Tournament Series has been synonymous with funding research for the genetic disease, cystic fibrosis, and the namesake angling events garner more than a million dollars a year to “catch the cure.” This is second in the fall series of Redbone Trilogy fishing events, and is to be headquartered at Dove Creek Lodge, mile marker 94.5 oceanside, with social functions at the adjacent Snapper’s Waterfront Restaurant. The celebrity host of this year’s Baybone event is Major League Baseball Hall of Famer Wade Boggs. Space still remains for anglers and two-person teams to join.
